TV 'Lucky' A/W 09

Melbourne label TV just released a preview of their A/W collection.

I'm in love with the colour palate and the silhouettes. It looks like the garments drape perfectly over your body.

I'm guessing this isn't about to come to NZ for a bit, but if it does, i'd happily recieve a gift of anything from this collection! Just sayin.

I can't help it. I'm gonna be a 50 year old who still goes on websites to look at pictures of them haha. I love their style, i love what they're designing. And i recommend everyone to go buy their book Influence. It's amazing.

4. Melbourne
Most beautiful city to explore and most perfect place to enjoy a honeymoon! I want to go back and go explore some more. I loved Crown Casino at night, gorgeous restaurants on Lygon st, the amazing size of the malls and shopping areas, Chapel St, catching trams, the zoo and more. If i ever decided to live somewhere else it would be Melbourne.

5. Greek salad
I'm obssessed. I think i made it every day last week. Feta= YUM.

6. Blogs!
Reading beautiful blogs and looking at amazing photography, incredible crafts and reading pretty and inspiring words. I'll also probably be a 50 year old who is still blogging.

Garden Party

The campaign for Burberry SS09 has inspired my theme for a friends bridal shower i'm throwing.





Pot plants, a palate of greens, browns and earthy tones, frilly frocks and a dishevelled setting. I'm going to make the bridal shower a garden picnic party and decorate a garden area like these photographs and add some lanterns hanging from the trees.





Even though these photographs are for a Spring/Summer campaign, the hues and tones give me an autumnal feel when i look at them and i love that! They give so much warmth and remind me of crisp leaves and sepia tones.
