Africa was the most amazing experience of my life and I have so much to share with you guys if you're interested! This is just a quick post to say I'm back and a big thank you to Daydream Lily for taking care of Here Comes the Sun for the 3 weeks I was away.
I have lots of catching up to do on everything you guys have been posting, so it might take a few days but I will get around to you all!
Anyway I want to leave you with this picture of Farda, a young Mozambican girl my husband and I bonded with during our stay. Isn't she the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?

Wow this really makes me want to pack my bags and leave for Africa myself. Without a doubt, the most beautiful continent.

ReplyDeleteThis brought tears to my eyes (good tears, that is). I lived in West Africa for 4 years; seeing pictures and hearing of others visiting makes me a little bit homesick.

a friend of mine, rachel, went away to Africa for a missionary trip and she brought the most intriguing shots of africa on her stay there. it was hectic and so amazin : )
