Creative Spaces

Tuesday, November 17, 2009

Lately the best thing to do when I have a spare moment has been having a peppermint tea and looking at pictures of people's creative spaces. I love seeing people's homes that have little personal touches all over the place. This one is from here. Such a feast for the eyes!

Make sure you all check out the post below as well & enter the giveaway. Frankie magazine has sponsored a giveaway of their amazing new calendar, so make sure you don't miss out, it closes Friday.

Annnnd lastly, if you want to see some pictures of me, head over to Deers and Bears, my friends photography blog. I'm the one in a black dress with a red bow in my hair.

me too! except change the peppermint to licorice :)
but I also currently live with my parents after years of my own living spaces. So i look at these photos to make sure I keep saving my money (goal) so I can get back into an adorable place like the photographs here!

I love looking at people's creative spaces too - it's so much more interesting than your average house shot because it's pretty much essential to have all sorts of crap lying around - there's no lies here! I like how this person is a pile-maker, like me!

I love the books under the sofa! But I guess I have to clean under mine before I can put anything there.... ;)

My mother would said that those spaces are untidy... but I think that they're full of imagination, hahaha!

the personal touches can be inspiring. Some people take any totally graceless ( sorry, i didn't find other term, hope that it is right! horrible english!) things and give a special shine to them. The old can with the paint-brush, for example, very charming.
Nothing like peppermint and creativity!

Oh my!
This makes me slightly depressed because my room isn't nearly as nice as these, but its combined with he warm fuzzy feeling you get when you're inspired so I'm happy!!
You really are amazingthe way you find these things,
Pearl xo

I love all of these! There is something very inspiring and comforting about seeing pictures of creative spaces. It makes me want to pick up my pencils and draw something.
I hope you are well, dear.

It was certainly interesting for me to read the post. Thank you for it. I like such themes and everything that is connected to them. I definitely want to read a bit more on that blog soon.
