Just a minute in...June

Watching... Gilmore Girls on dvd with the hubby. Just watched season 5 again (favourite) and now onto season six (makes me sad cause Lorelai and Rory aren't talking, but it's still amazing).

Drinking... Cups and cups and cups of Earl Grey and English Breakfast everyday

Enjoying... Having more free time in my life now that I don't work full time. Enjoying cups of tea with the hubby, getting home at a reasonable hour of the day and having more time for myself.

Listening... to Alaska. If you want to hear the most beautiful music please please just trust me and go here and download their ep for free. You won't regret it. They are a New Zealand band who's amazing sound includes a violin, harp, melodica and beautiful voices and more beautiful instruments. Please please go download it and tell me what you think. They are my favourite band in the world right now. I am actually so excited for you guys to listen to them!!!

Jane Schouten Interiors

Maybe I've been living under a rock but I've only just discovered the joy that is Jane Schouten- a graphic designer, artist and shop owner who has the home of my dreams.

This is the kind of house I am working towards:

I already pin up my necklaces like in the above pic and have begun working on a wall full of different framed art and photography.

I definitely definitely don't have such lovely furniture :( Unfortunately for us the joy of being newly wed and having a small home means we only have one couch and one bean bag in our lounge! Haha.

And my kitchen isn't even close to being this lovely but i do have my own collection of pretty jars and tins and containers, and a perfectly mismatched set of cups and saucers and teapots, so that's a start!

Lookbook love!

Hey friends! Wow thanks so much for all the birthday wishes! It was kind of a strange birthday this year, I had to work all day and then didn't have time for much in the evening but I did get to celebrate with friends last weekend and got spoilt with a few pretty things.

Anyway, I know I've said it before but I have been super super slack with getting back to everyone lately but things will change! As some of you might know I quit my job (except now I'm there part time, but that's actually great) and Saturday just been was my last day as a full timer, so I have a lot more freedom for things like blogging in my schedule now! Yay :)
