I love the story telling nature of his photographs, especially the first one!!

This year is passing so quickly. And i have no idea what I'll be up to in a year from now. I'm not one of those people with a 5 year plan, or even a one or two year plan. All i know is that I have my husband with me on whatever adventure life may bring our way. And so I'm content.

Viktor Vauthiers Photo Graphic Diary

I'm really enjoying the pictures over at Viktors blog. He uses a 35mm camera and produces raw, authentic images with no editing or elaborate lighting. Some of his more risque images (check out his blog and you'll see) remind me of Terry Richardson.

I ♥ Modcloth!

I don't know if many of you know this, but I work part time in a jewellery store. One of my favourite things is emailing our buying team with suggestions for new ranges and items they should buy (my latest idea is for a Pochahontis inspired range) and I get a lot of my ideas from Modcloth because they have such a great range of accessories and so many things i would love to buy if I had the money!

I always notice what accessories people are wearing and how they style themselves. For me personally, my jewellery style is minimal on earrings (I don't do big ones) but i love love love long pendant necklaces and a good stack of bangles on my wrist and if I find a ring i love I thrash it for ages. And for the most part I'm a gold girl over silver, but that rule can sometimes be broken :)

So tell me, what's your jewellery style? Who's inspiring you right now? Personally i love how Alexa Chung pulls her accessories together.

Oh and I just have to mention, this is my kind of bag:

I'm not really into the whole big hand bag thing! I like smaller bags on long chains or straps, particularly anything with engraved leather, a pretty pattern or sequins!

Made By Girl: Glimpse into her home

Jennifer Ramos of Made By Girl has the most beautiful home! Everything is so simple and clean but wonderfully effective! I'd love to live in a house like this. (One day, i hope!)

I especially love her wall of framed photo's in the dining area. Mine is not quite so impressive yet but I am inspired to include pretty prints and art like in this one, as well as my favourite photography. 

Lulu Finder Vintage

The author of a favourite blog of mine- Gluda Finds Lulu is the creator of Lulu Finder Vintage on etsy, a shop selling the cutest rompers and dresses, complete with frills, bows and everything girly. Recently Nylon magazine discovered her store and wrote a lovely little article about her here, saying she won't be up and coming for long. I agree!

So it's only a few weeks and I will be in Africa!! I am going with my husband and a group of friends to work in an orphanage in Mozambique for awhile. But Here Comes the Sun won't be getting neglected, I'm working on scheduling some posts and also my dear friend Daydream Lily is going to be my guest blogger and keep you all entertained while I'm gone.

So please keep us in your prayers. It is going to be the best and worst time, so heart breaking but so eye opening. We only have a little time left to fundraise the rest of the money we need so please pray that it all works out!
