This is how i feel right now. So much beauty surrounding me, so much to take in, i wish i could capture every moment and keep it in my heart forever.

6 ways I keep myself inspired and creatively fulfilled: (for those days when you feel like you're lacking)
6. Magazines: Frankie, Russh, Marie Clare, Yen, Oyster... etc. I love different magazines for different reasons but one thing they all have in common is beautiful photography, editorials that make me swoon and ideas for my home/ wardrobe/ life that are creative, interesting and fun.
5. Getting creative! Putting on my favourite cd and scrap booking, writing someone a letter, decorating a journal or notebook, making jewelry.
4. Getting out. Getting away from the computer, my cell phone and the television. Taking a walk and writing in my journal, taking some pictures, making a daisy chain, playing on a swing.
3. Op shopping. I love love love the joy of digging for treasures in little dusty op shops. My favourite is trying to find pretty jars and tins and photo frames for my home, but every now and then i have some luck and find a great scarf or hat or bag.
2. People watching. Sounds creepy? But it's so much fun and i know we secretly all love it. My favourite is finding a coffee shop on a corner, ordering a hot drink in the largest size and sitting in the window seat making up stories about the lives of the people walking by.
1. The world of blogging. Nothing beats going through your blog roll, visiting every blog and taking it all in. Then visiting every blog on everyone elses blog roll. Photography blogs, home decor blogs, hand made blogs, cooking and baking blogs, cobra snake blogs, art and design blogs... so many amazing ideas, so many amazing talents, so much to take in!

For those of us living down under it's coming into summer time, and I am getting so excited! The new summer range from Mink Pink is so beautiful and has given me so many great ideas. I can't wait til it hits our stores here so I can treat myself to a few goodies to wear in the sunny weather.
The thing i love about Mink Pink is that you can mix and match all the pieces together and have fun with layering and wearing them in different ways.
Check out their blog here and website here.

If you'd like to advertise on my blog, send me an email at amanda.ellen.thomas@gmail.com
My rates are wonderfully affordable because it's more about giving your blogs and online stores a bit of love and attention, than it is about me making money.
Also, keep checking back here, because I have some really exciting giveaways coming up soon! (annnnnd hopefully a new layout, to compliment your lovely advertisements)

I am so ready for summer. I can't wait for long, hot nights spent outside with friends and food and ice cold beer. I can't wait for salads at every meal, bike rides with the hubby, picking wildflowers and putting them in my hair, Parachute music festival and salty, beach hair days.
Bring on the sunshine, denim shorts, long over sized tshirts, old crappy op shop sunglasses, wide brim straw hats and breezy summer days.
I honestly can't put into words the experience I had but I thought I would share a few pictures to give you guys a bit of an idea of what went on. A basic round up of the trip is that we stayed at an orphanage in Pemba Mozambique and spent time serving in different areas and outreaches, spending time with the orphans and village children and helping out in anyway we could.
This is part of the visitors centre where we stayed. The place was beautiful and was our little sanctuary in the midst of an often chaotic place.

A pretty new blog The Feather Circus, she has such sweet photos. I love the ones with the swan lamp (or is it a goose?).
enjoy x
