I love the beauty of birdcages. I don't know where this installation was done or why, but i think it's amazing.
I discovered these photo's in one of my favourite flickr streams- Pearled and they've made my day!
Edit: Thanks to your lovely comments I've found out this was a laneways installation in Sydney.

Your blog is incredibly beautiful, and very inspiring! There is something rather whimsical about birdcages. :)
These remind me of the photographs of one of my favorite places I've seen in photos and hope to visit. There's an art exhibit on a street in Alicante Spain where dozens of umbrellas are suspended overhead. If you haven't seen it before, you should search for "alicante" and "umbrellas" on Flickr.

wow, this looks beautiful. I would love to walk under those birdcages too.
This was done in a little lane of the main street of Sydney, they always seem to hung stuff up in there but how cool is it!

yep, it's a part of laneways by george, an annual art installation in sydney. that one is my favourite of this year, they change the installation every year :)
