“We plan our lives according to a dream that came to us in our childhood, and we find that life alters our plans. And yet, at the end, from a rare height, we also see that our dream was our fate. It's just that providence had other ideas as to how we would get there. Destiny plans a different route, or turns the dream around, as if it were a riddle, and fulfills the dream in ways we couldn't have expected.”

Thanks to one of my favourite blogs The English Muse, I have had the pleasure of stumbling upon the most gorgeous flickr stream of Scottish artist Fiona Watson. I love the collages she puts together with book pages and birds and feathers and all things french. She's making me want to get out my scissors and glue and hide away for the weekend getting crafty!

i just realized that your blog is named after a beatles song.
ReplyDeleteHere comes the sun, haha by the beatles. Did not realize that until today while my ipod was shuffling.
@priyi haha yes :) that's one of my favourite songs by them and on our wedding day we walked out of the church ceremony to that song.

Not too long again I bought a picture frame that allowed me to put 3-dimensional objects in there.
ReplyDeleteIt turned into quite the project but I absolutely love it.
It's like all the stuff that you would normally throw away that have so many memories attached to.
Beautiful photos.
I love the first picture so much!
