Missed Connections

I'm sure a lot of you already know the blog Missed Connections, but I couldn't help but share a few of my favourite recent postings. For those of you who haven't seen the blog before it's written and illustrated by Sophie Blackall of New York and here is a better description than what I could ever write:

Messages in bottles, smoke signals, letters written in the sand; the modern equivalents are the funny, sad, beautiful, hopeful, hopeless, poetic posts on Missed Connections websites. Every day hundreds of strangers reach out to other strangers on the strength of a glance, a smile or a blue hat. Their messages have the lifespan of a butterfly. I'm trying to pin a few of them down.

  11. Beautiful! When I was a little girl, I used to pretend I was sleeping in a swan bed/boat, and a swan bicycle would have been just the thing for my daily rides around town ;-). Thanks for sharing your lovely finds.
