I just found the most adorable set of pictures on flickr- tea cups and china! So pretty. I would love to get my hands on those the classic penguin book cover mugs!! I am a firm believer that a cup of tea tastes so much better if it's in a pretty mug or tea cup and even greater when made in a beautiful pot.

I'm so with you on the penguin mugs! Borders has been selling them and I think I saw them at Iko Iko on K'Rd.
ReplyDeleteWow! I LOVE these! The penguin cups are great but I also love those teapots ^-^

I thought I recognized those beautiful teacups! They're my friend's cups! Her blog is here, if your interested.

I found your blog, not too long ago. I've been enjoying it.
oh those penguin mugs are the best! i love then :) yes tea tastes so much nicer out of a good mug. i hate those ones you often get in hotels which are really thick. they just ruin the taste!

I am with you. I think it fully makes a difference whether tea is floating precariously in a old worn out mug or if its drifting delicately in a beautiful mug. Too poetic?
ReplyDeleteAw old teacups are so beautiful! My nana has heaps! I would be nervous to break them though!
