Here's to reading!

Pictures of my beautiful friend Ayla, taken by Perry Graham.

In light of what I talked about in yesterdays post (being slightly addicted to the internet) I'm going to make more effort this week to get back into reading. I found an old copy of "The Day of the Triffids" (in the classic orange and white Penguin book design, yay) hiding away in my book shelf so I'm starting with that.

Here's to getting into bed just that little bit earlier every night and snuggling up with a good book before you sleep!

And while I'm at it, what are you reading at the moment? I'm up for recommendations too!

  2. yay for reading in bed!
There's nothing better really, and I usually pair my book with a cup of (non caffeine) tea.

Right now, I'm reading How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and Invisible by Paul Auster.

I really like both so far! :)

  5. Ohh I just did a post on my infinite love for reading! I'm currently caught up in a book called 'La petite fille de monsieur Linh', it's a French novel about an old man and his granddaughter of who he's very protective over.
If you haven't already, I definitely recommend reading 'The shadow of the wind' by Zafón.

  9. Agree--the photos are very pretty!

I, too, need to get back into reading. I just finished Age of Innocence by Wharton--it was really awesome. This week, I'm starting The Maltese Falcon. I'm also reading Pattie Boyd's biography, but the writing isn't the best.

  20. Is it interesting? The book title looks nice..I am currently reading "a year in ze merde" its a funny book about an englishman in Paris, its really cool to understand the difficulty to adapt to a foreign country but yet it keeps the humour :)
