One of my biggest life motto's is "Dream big, work it out from there."
I just believe that we shouldn't let logic or reason interrupt following our dreams. Have your big idea and then find a way to make it work! I've been thinking about this a lot lately because of some opportunities that have come my way and some ideas that are being thrown around that seem so big that it's almost crazy- but that's what i love about it!

For me it's: Replace fera of unknown with curiosity :)

I have the dream big motto too! I planned to move to India for a year before I knew how to make it happen. Then it seems like an amazing volunteer and intern opportunity just fell into my lap! I am trying to figure out the funding so I started a Kickstarter.

That is such a beautiful motto. I've recently finished studying fashion design at college and applied to university. I didn't get in this year and it de-motivated me so much! i began to doubt whether fashion was the best career for me go into and i was really doubting myself. I took it badly at first but then after reading about a few people who have made a really good career off their own backs has really motivated me and reading your post just, just motivated me even more to persue my dream! it's such a true motto and totally inpsiring! :D so thankyou for inspiring me!!!! xox

i'm not sure I guess i am a big fan of 'if at first you don't succeed try try again', my cousin said to me today "if it is hard work, it is not worth doing"... i dont agree with this one... haha

ReplyDeletei don't know from whom is this quoted from, but there's a old free post card that i keep and it says "creativity is a choice, not a gift" and that has been my favourite motto since i found that postcard.

Ah thats a great moto - i often think about similar sorts of mottos like 'dont let money get in the way of you doing something' it sounds silly but sometimes i think being sensible shouldn't matter!
ReplyDeleteMy daily motto though is 'Ne Regrette Rien' meaning don't regret anything. Ironically i regret so much that i try to remember that. I almost got it tatoo'd on my arm!
