One sunny afternoon a few weeks ago the husband and I had a date at the park complete with hot chocolates and our first play with the Diana mini, and these pictures are the result. We had fun shooting from the hip, snapping away at any point of the wind-on, and not worrying about framing up the perfect shot.
What do you think? This has me so excited to get my next film developed!
P.S I've added my pictures to flickr, if anyone is interested you can find them HERE.

ReplyDeleteThese are perfect! So nice! :)
ReplyDeleteOh those multiple exposures turned out great! Especially the first one seems to sum up your day :)
ReplyDeletelove how you got the frames to overlap. I love my Diana, you should join some of the flickr groups.

Do you think you could perhaps post about how to create such wonderful effects with the Diana mini? I just got one and I'm not sure exactly how to use it :)
ReplyDeletevery beautiful pictures! i love them!
ReplyDeletei hope you have a beautiful weekend!♥
I have a diana+ but i don't achieve to develop my photos... Do you develop your film by your own way ?
ReplyDeleteIn any case, your blog is great !
@In Bloom
ReplyDeleteThe diana mini takes standard 35 mm film so i can get it developed pretty much anywhere. And I just make sure to say please develop "as is" because otherwise they see the "flaws" and try to fix them, not realising it's how we like the pictures to look.
this turned out great!! have you uploaded more anywhere else such as flickr?!?! love it!
ReplyDeletelovely! I love the floral dress double exposure. I just finshed my Sydney film taking it in to get developed today. I dont know if I wound the film on enough so will be interesting to see the results!
ReplyDeletethe second shot is lovely!

Nicely done. So exciting to get Diana photographs printed!
ReplyDeletenice ppics :) I'm a few photos away from developing my 1st diana mini film, i'm really worried that they won't be able to print the pictures correctly though because I sawpped between square and half frame so much! how did you find it worked when you swapped around frames?
ReplyDeleteoh that sounds like so much fun!! I love the photos!
ReplyDeleteoh these turned out SO well! I have the Diana that shoots 120 and it has been such a huge challenge for me. (and makes me appreciate people who have a talent for that little plastic camera even more!) I really love the second one, with the fabric.
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic! My first roll was a disaster. Although that's probably because I was so anxious as to how each shot would turn out. I have more fun with it now and the results are much better. Can't wait to see more of your Diana photography :)
ReplyDeletewow they turned out so well!
