Hello everyone, how was your weekend? It's Nicole from Gary Pepper Vintage and this is my second guest post for Amanda. She'll be returning home tomorrow and i'm sure you're all just as excited as i am to read about her travels!
I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to take you all behind the scenes and into my office. This is where i spend 14 hours of my day, 7 days a week. It's a large open space with white walls and plenty of light so it's perfect to cover in colourful clothes and images. I'm a bit of an oragnised freak so i love having a place for everything and colour coordinating my rails of stock and overlocking threads. It doesn't hurt that it's pretty to look at too!

Hidden in a little walk in closet in my office there are a few vintage pieces i just can't bare to sell. They're the pieces that you find only one out of every thousand dresses you sort through, the pieces that make your heart race when you spot it from across the room and make everything move in slow motion until you have it safely in your hands. The pieces that in your eyes are priceless.
This 1950's red tulle dress is one of my favourites and before today i haven't actually showed anyone, not even my assistant! The top is made from small embroidered flowers which have all been delicately sewn together and the skirt is made from layers of beautiful tulle. My vintage archive collection has been a well kept secret before now but i suppose some secrets are worth sharing.
So welcome to my office - i hope you like it!

Amazing, amazing red 50's dress. You'd have a bidding war over that little one.
