This week the husband and I have had the pleasure of spending some time with
Andrew and Carissa- two talented Americans who have been in New Zealand to shoot a wedding.
We took them to some of favourite spots in Auckland- One Tree Hill, lunch at Circus Circus in Mt Eden, a wander through Ponsonby (where we sat at a cafe a few seats from
Rhys Darby of Flight of the Conchords fame), played on a flying fox, relaxed on the bean bags under the
Telecom Christmas tree and had a true blue kiwi dinner of fish and chips on the beach- complete with L&P and Watties tomato sauce.
This week has been the first official week of summer in NZ so it was a great way to kick it off. Also wonderful to make some lovely new friends & have a few adventures together! I have a few more pictures to share but you'll have to wait to see them on my
Cornetto blog on Thursday :)
Fun day. :)
