New Zealand shoe brand whywho has been nominated for the Westpac Young Designer Competition and they are my pick to win. You can click here to vote for them and also check out the rest of the lookbook here.

The brand is designed by Cate King and Sarah Busby, sisters from Gisborne and I love love love it. Not to mention the fact that a lot of my family are from Gisborne so I have a soft spot for the place.

Super Duper Things

Super Duper Things is a cute little etsy store full of handmade jewellery, accessories and homewares with mostly one-off items. I wouldn't mind the stag silhouette in the blue vintage frame hanging on my wall!

♥ drink milk just by itself.. even the thought of it makes me gag.

I love Hermés‘ new campaign and website, J’aime Mon Carré (I Love My Scarf) , dedicated to their soon to be released line of limited-edition scarves.

The website features a group of girls from New York, London, Paris and Tokyo showing off different ways to wear the beautiful silk scarves- in your hair, as a bag, around your neck. I thought it was such a good idea for kicking off a campaign and generating interest before the product is even available!

I am in LOVE with these polaroids from a recent Urban Outfitters shoot that I discovered yesterday thanks to the Velvet Bow. They're just another reminder for me that Spring is on it's way along with iced tea, picnics, denim cut offs and summer dresses.. bliss!

So recently it felt like I woke up and all of a sudden my hair was really long:

And when you have long curly hair, products are your best friend for taming the long, wild mess. So I've been trying out a few different types and I've come to the conclusion that GHD wins all the way, especially these 3:

Between the three of them I manage to get rid of all the frizz and craziness and have smooth, soft curls (that smell good too). So that's my recommendation for today, especially if any of you have hair like mine!

Kling Spring 2010 Lookbook

Here in New Zealand the frosts of winter are disappearing, layers are getting lighter and the heater has been returned to the cupboard... that's right- for the most part the coldest days of winter are over and Spring is just around the corner. I'm so excited!

I do love winter and it's offerings- snuggly nights inside, hot soup, Sunday roasts and hot baths, but there's something so nice about summer and sunshine- bike rides, barbecues, ice creams, days at the beach and not to mention a summer wardrobe like the one featured in these beautiful pictures from the Kling Spring 2010 lookbook.

My internet at home is sloooow so this post took forever to create :(

Ahh anyway I'm just popping in to say hi and share a few pictures. How was everyone's weekend? The husband and I spent a lot of time holed up inside watching "The Wire". We are half way through season 4 and loving it. Has anyone else watched that program? It is actually one of the most amazing tv series I have ever seen.

I guess for some of you your weekend is still going but for me it's Monday morning and I am doing a bit of house work then heading off to work. I love how New Zealand is first to see the new day!
