I apologise for the appalling quality of these pictures but our camera is broken (so Macbook photobooth it is!) and I just had to share a couple of pictures of the newest addition to our family: a little black kitten called Rocky. We adopted him from an animal shelter yesterday and he is already fitting quite nicely into our lives and making friends with Ziggy.
So our home is a very nice place to be right now- with two sweet little kitties running around! Adopting a friend for Ziggy was on my list of things to do this year, so I'm glad to have ticked that off. I've also done one or two other things on the list, if you care to take a look (more info on one of them in particular to come soon)
Eeek! Two kitties! I know they can be little devils (our 6 month old kitty wakes us up with loud clanging noises from the other room as we're trying to sleep) but they are so wonderful! Congratulations on the new addition.

aw..so cute! I have to kittens too. they're brothers but they have different markings on them. Sometimes having a friend for a kitten is always great. It keeps them from changing into a grumpy cat.

ReplyDeleteAh! so cute. He reminds me of my mum's black cat - they're so awesome the way they are just a shadow with eyes. Especially when looking through the screen door so his eyes are in the gaps in lattice haha.

aw this is just too cute I think my head will explode from cute overload. I love how they are lying the same in the first two photos. looks like they're already good friends. I would want to stay home all day and play with them!

im glad that you could adopt two darling kittens but what about a lovely adult cat? i have recently adopted two a while after the passing of my best friend- my cat S.J and it was a nice feeling. the shelter was overun with adult cats and i fell in love with them imediently. Kittens are cute and will always find a home but adult cats miss out. maybe thats something to think about.
