Just a few pictures the husband took yesterday while we visited one of our favourite spots in Auckland- One Tree Hill. While most like to take the drive (or steep walk) to the top to enjoy the view of the city, our favourite thing is to explore the parts all around the bottom- the trees and grassy fields and stone walls are so pretty and the perfect place for a picnic or a sunny afternoon.
On another note, while we were at One Tree Hill and taking a few pictures we snapped a film in one of our 35mm cameras, mid shot. Has anyone had this happen before? Will they still be able to process the images I took before the film broke? I'm so sad it happened.
Edit: Just wanted to say two more things:
1. I've been uploading my pictures to my flickr, if anyone is interested
2. Make sure you check out the giveaway in my post below as well!
That is all x

nice hat! :)
ReplyDeletereminds me of one Czech serial character :)
thats a good question, they might be able to develop it if you didn't open the camera, as long as you didn't expose the film again in a light room, then it should be fine.
ReplyDeleteI suggest going and getting them to open it their dark room, process the film and then give the camera back after!
I hope it works out for you!

I feel like I need another road trip to Auckland...
ReplyDeleteLike we already spoke about, just see if five cross roads can help. They must have a dark place to sort it out!
you are such a cutie. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, you can save your film. Like a couple of others have commented-- You can have the film removed at a lab (that you trust) and have them process it from there... Or if you can't wait and want to start shooting new film in that camera-- you can always spool it back into the old canister carefully. (In a darkroom or somewhere else equally pitch black.) I've had to do that before, and I just warn the guys at the lab that the film snapped. You'll most likely lose the last frame or two, but the others should turn out.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the amount of personal photo's on here lately (:
