Yesterday we took a second out to head down to the lake for hot chocolates and some catch up time. We forgot to take any bread to share with the ducks though sadly! We have so many favourite places in this city that are nice to visit and lucky for us the lake is just around the corner from our house.
As I've said before we both have Fridays off to enjoy together but yesterday was our second to last shared Friday! Next week is my last week at Rox and then I'll be starting a new position at a Real Estate agency, so my days off will be Sat/Sun. (Which would you believe I have never had before! I'm excited). I'm sad to not be working with Ilana anymore but also looking forward to this new season in my life. So mine and Jeremy's new date day will be Saturday, which couldn't be more perfect :) Here's to new beginnings!

ReplyDeleteI love that you set aside a specific date day each week. It is so easy to get caught up in the everyday, mundane and necessary. My boyf and I have started to make a concerted effort to have an outing at least once a weekend, even just for a walk. It's really special to do that.
