Usually I'm not so drawn to black and white photography but I've fallen for these pictures and now I want to try a black and white roll in my LC-A+ sometime soon. This weekend I've loaded it up with some standard colour film and am excited to get snapping, so maybe after this roll I'll experiment with black and white for the first time!
Hope you all have a great weekend! I'll have pictures of my recent adventures and a little bit of news to share with you all next week xx

really? I think B/W photos are great to do something dark, mistery ;) this are awsome!!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, I've always loved black and white photos for the way that they strip away sometimes distracting colors and leave you with concepts and emotions.
ReplyDeleteoh... those pictures are fantastic. supermagical!
ReplyDelete:) these are awesome. i like that they arent super contrasty.. theyre toned down and subtle!

this are just amazing.
ReplyDeleteThey are wonderful pictures, I know what you mean about not really being drawn to black and white photography as much, I think it's because I'm in love with all the pretty delicate tones of summer that are about that I forget about monotone editing, but these are simply gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteI love black and white. I find if the shots are done well (look these shots) they can be quite dramatic.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely give black and white a go.
I just love your blog. I love the pictures and the little posts about you and your hubby, you are so cute!

ReplyDeleteI love the first pic though :D
I really like black/white photos. Especially when taking portrait photos. Sometimes you notice something completely different in a picture, when it is in b/w. Somehow the focus is different...
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous & I really need to keep their beauty in mind 'cause when buying film I always chose colour over black & white & it's time for a change I think (:
ReplyDeletestunning, absolutely inspiring

These are just stunning! The first two in particular are really gorgeous x
ReplyDeleteMan, these surely are something! I just told my boyfriend the other day how much I loved film and how I wish more people used film. Digital just doesn't possess the romanticism that film does! If you try it out, please post them:)
ReplyDeleteFREAKIN GORGEOUS!!! I want to bust out some B&W film as well. Love the subtle contrast created in those photos. Love
ReplyDeleteLooks so inspiring! :D

ReplyDeleteusually i feel the same way as i am such a huge fan of colour, but i have to agree with you as these are just beautiful! very inspiring <3 xxx
ReplyDeleteBlack and white have always been my favorite because there is nothing distracting in a beautifully done photo including the lovely lighting that comes through a properly exposed photo. There is almost no editing needed when you get done with it. I started out only using my film camera and developing my own film, the best kind is ilford b&w its professional grade and its amazing~! :)
ReplyDeletegosh these images are so hauntingly beautiful...they feel like snippets from a dream xxx
