Times Have Changed

Last month I took the big step to get my first major haircut in years. It was a big deal for me so I eased my way in and didn't get it too short (check out the post here) but this weekend I finally got up the courage to go for the cut I'd been really wanting- a long bob! It's such a huge change for me but I'm really enjoying it.

Pretty crazy to think only a few weeks ago my hair was this long! But it was so unhealthy and dry and split and it was definitely time for a change. I'm loving how quick it is to wash, how fast it is to dry and how much longer it takes to go through a bottle of shampoo!

  3. This post makes me a bit "AHHHH, NO!!!" but only because I WISH my hair was as long as yours used to be, I haven't cut it since the beginning of the year! But I know how you feel, as I used to have hair up to my bum and I decided to go for the chop, too. The long bob suits you very much!

  11. LOL at anon. I think if you read my post you would see I'm quite happy about my haircut. Not too sure why I would need to calm down?

  12. maybe anon means everyone else to calm down? haha. But It took you YEARS to grow your hair that long so it is a big deal cutting it off. I was looking at pictures of Emma Stone on the weekend and missing my red hair.

I wanna see more pics! gosh it must feel a lot lighter.

  23. you look so cute! It really suits you. I just cut my hair into a short bob too last week - I think I look even younger than I did before! It's so strange having short hair, my hair was really long too.

  24. you are looking cute. I agree with others that you look cute both ways. Since you never had a cut in years, and now you have.

Why don't u try making it shorter and more daring cut....not boyish short though. Since they are going to grow anyway and you probably may not want to cut them once they grow again. So take ur chances now.

  29. I love it! You could even go a bit shorter for more drama even. That kind of cut really works with your features.

Remember, it is hair, it will grow back if that is what you want... In the meantime good for you for going for it! And I for one, think it's a marvelous!

  30. I did the same thing! I grew my hair out for over a year so that it's be really long for prom and high school graduation. The day after graduation I got it cut to where you did the first time. I liked it, but knew I wanted to go shorter after a week or two. My hair is now just barely grazing my shoulders and I love it! Perfect for summer, college life, and a much needed change! <3
