Yesterday was a perfect winters day here - bright sunshine, clear skies, a crisp breeze and a good chance to spend some time outdoors. A friend and I snuck around the garden to get some pictures for an upcoming project (more on that soon) and I love that my hat and stockings ended up matching the flowers and it wasn't even planned!

Also a big thank you for answering my question regarding the weather in NZ. ;-) I understand why you think 1 degree is cold, when you are used to 10-15. It's a big difference! Here, a normal winter is around 0 degress and 10-15 is what we have in springtime! I find it very interesting knowing about the clima other places in the world. :-)

There's nothing quite like sunshine on a winter's day. We had the same weather in Australia this weekend, and I made the most of it too. However, I didn't look anywhere as near the part as you did with those fabulous red tights and hat!
