Where is the Love?

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."
1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I wish we could all be a little nicer to each other, judge a little less, love a little more and make more effort to accept people for who they are. I know this isn't like my normal blog posts but this is on my heart to share.

  1. What a sweet post Amanda, and I couldn't agree more. There has been a lot of negativity on the blogsphere lately - at least that's what I've noticed. I say we all band together and show some love :)

  12. Aww. this was actually my school chapter. I had to learn it by heart and we repeated it throughout the year at services. I think the meaning got lost along the way to mindless repition - but it's nice to revisit it and really think about what it means.

I agree - love makes the world go round.

  15. I wish the same thing, especially for myself. Read this just this morning: "We are always to respect other people as spiritual beings who are responsible before God alone for the course they choose to take of their own free will" (Dallas Willard).
