Hydrangea Lane

Wednesday, January 11, 2012

Oh how I love this time of year! I'm a bit of a nana when it comes to my taste in florals and have a serious love for hydrangeas which is perfect when you live in a city that's full of them! I've been working out a lot lately and keep spotting large patches of them when I'm out on my runs and tonight I decided it was worth heading back to the biggest patch for a few quick snaps.

Also I wanted to let you guys know my dear hubby has succumbed to the world of instagram. A lot of his pictures will probably end up being behind the scenes of my blog posts (since he's the one who takes all the pictures) so if you want to follow him for sneak peeks search for "jemyboy7" :)

These photos look awesome! They really are a nice flower. There is a bush of them growing near my house, but little kids always walk by and pick them.

I love hydrangeas, too, even if they do look like swimming caps...! They have such lovely muted colours.

I always thought those were lilacs! whoops. I have a hydrangea tree outside of my home and ADORE the scent every spring when they blossom. Goodness they're amazing.
