After a few days of being sick and cooped up in bed, Jeremy and I finally managed to get out of the house on the weekend and headed over to Mount Maunganui (a beach about 1.5 hours from where we live) for a day of walking, swimming, reading, ice cream and relaxing.
It was so good to get out of the house, get some sunshine on my skin and enjoy the beautiful scenery at one of my favourite beaches. It's kinda starting to feel like summer is winding down here so any last moments with bare legs and arms are ones that I'm treasuring!

You're so lucky to have a beach like that near where you live. I used to live 50 feet away from a beach and I miss it like crazy even though I'm not a "beach person."

ReplyDeleteI love Mount Maunganui beach! I've just been to NZ over Christmas to visit my boyfriend's family. His mum literally lives right next to the beach (Tauranga). ;) So seeing your photos makes me feel really.. well, envious I guess ;) + it's summer over there.
