What a day!

(behind the scenes snaps by Tornadoes and Tigers)

Yesterday I teamed up with a local photgrapher to take part in a fun shoot. I got to dance around in a pretty field, get my face painted and run through fields of trees. Pretty excited to see the results!

Then I returned home to discover one of my cats (Ziggy) could only open one of his eyes. I'd only been out of the house for just over 2 hours but somehow in that time he managed to scratch the inside of his lower lid and cause himself a lot of discomfort. We had to take him to the emergency vet (it was a public holiday here) so it ended up being an extremely expensive and traumatic end to the day (he did not enjoy the experience AT ALL). He's on the mend now but the poor little guy is still feeling a bit sorry for himself.

Shame, poor baby. Vets are frightfully expensive :( I feel your pain.

Love the look of that shoot!

What would you call that style of face painting? It's almost tribal. I'm trying to do some research on that kind of styling but not really sure of what to call it/where it comes from! x
