Party Planning

I need your help ladies! A friends birthday is fast approaching and we're about to start planning the menu, decorations, colour scheme etc but first we need a good dose of visual inspiration to get the ball rolling. It's a dessert night (though a few savoury treats will be served as well) and we're looking for ideas for table settings, recipes and cute little extra touches. Can anyone link me to some pinterest boards, printable downloads or flickr accounts that might help? ♥

  8. I used to have a whole pinterest board, but I deleted it due to legal reasons (:-P) However, Shannon Nicole Smith had a birthday party a few years ago that was gorgeous I have gotten so much inspiration from there. ♥

  18. Bloggers are awesome -- whenever I have a problem I just take it to the blog and I know that my readers will think up something.

    I think that garland great or small is perfect for a party and I love cake stands and giant balloons if you can get your hands on some.

    I would search for swell life and marta dansie (two of my favorite bloggers) on pinterest and see what they have. I know that I have gotten really inspired by them. :)

    Very easy to spend a lot of time of Pinterest. I found it helpful to create boards when I had upcoming baby showers/christmas/birthdays to plan - then it's all in one place!
