Balloons in the Sky

Every year in Hamilton there's a wee festival called "Balloons over Waikato". Each day for a week balloons are launched in the early morning and evening so you can enjoy the spectacle while you're driving to and from work. It's such a pretty sight to see and something I look forward to every year! (You can see last years blog post on it here and some film pictures I took here.)

On the last day there's an evening event where half the city turns up for an twilight picnic while the sun goes down. This year Jeremy and I went with Ilana from See Me Everywhere and her hubby. We snuggled up with good food and warm blankets and enjoyed the show and fireworks together. Such a good night and a great memory to make!
