La Cigale
I'll be honest - the La Cigale markets might just be my favourite thing I've done in Auckland so far. We visited the Saturday morning French-style farmers market and were immediately overcome by the stunning array of food on offer. Fruit and veges, freshly baked breads and pastries, home made chutneys, cheeses, dips and spreads, macarons, coffee and crepes... I could go on!
I treated myself to a caramel crepe for breakfast, followed up by a red velvet cake pop (probably not something I should make a habit of) and spent the rest of my time swooning over all the sights and smells. It's only Tuesday and I'm already looking forward to going again this weekend :)

They look so lovely! I always love visiting the french markets when we go aboard, they are always so captivating.

ReplyDeleteOh we went down for a pop up vintage market before down to the French Market too bad they already closed. But we scored a vintage shirt for the boy. So we're still good :)
