This is how my weekend has looked so far. We slept in a little, went for a run, and then went to Cornwall Park (at One Tree Hill) for a picnic underneath a canopy of cherry blossoms. It was so good to relax, unwind, people watch and eat good food together. Sometimes the best weekends aren't the ones with a millions plans and things to do, but the ones where you have the freedom to take it easy and do as you wish.
I just finished a set of important exams and this is the first weekend in a long time where I don't have to study and stress and I've just slept in and hardly made any plans and it's the best feeling.
ReplyDeleteThat's just THE most perfect location to have a picnic!
ReplyDeleteSome of my favourite past times have involved people watching (strange I know), so sounded like you guys had a good time.
Gorgeous cherry blossoms. I love relaxing weekends.

Cherry blossom trees are so gorgeous, love them! They also remind me a tiny bit of our cherry willow in Spring. :D
