When I do my own nails, it's usually nothing more thrilling than quickly swiping on a splash of red, pink or purple and being done with it. But I have to say I do admire those who take the time to do something a little more fun and creative. There seems to be such an abundance of amazing nail art and tutorials on blogs and pinterest at the moment that I couldn't help but share a few faves. Hope you like! If you have any tutorials of your own, let me know in the comments :)

look nice.. :)

i love painting my nails! i recently saw something on Pinterest about using scotch tape to make shapes on your nails. it turned out really well! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love the watermelon idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible for spending too long painting my nails! I did little red, white and blue bunting for the Queen's Jubilee, which was the cutest, but took ages!
I really like the striped ones!

Nail art is very pretty, but I do not think I will ever be patient enough to make it on my own nails. A little more than a year ago, you made this blog post about nail polish: http://www.herecomesthesunblog.com/2011/07/brighten-me-up.html.
ReplyDeleteAt that time, I hardly ever wore nail polish on my finger nails, which I told you in a comment, but since that blog post of yours I have started wearing nail polish on my finger nails and I have really come to like it. Thanks to your blog post! You never know what comes with blogging. :-)
