Nelson, Part I: Berry Picking

For our Christmas holiday Jeremy and I flew down to Nelson and spent a week with family. The weather was great and we spent every day doing something outdoors - whether hiking, kayaking, jumping off a wharf or swimming. It was the perfect summer holiday! One of my highlights of the trip was doing our own berry picking and devouring fresh boysenberries straight from the vine.

This was the only time on the trip that I used our proper camera - to be honest it was nice to be out in nature and just enjoying the holiday without thinking too much about the blog. I do have a few phone snaps though that I'll share in a Part II soon :)

  1. That sounds like an absolutely wonderful holiday! And those berries look so juicy and delicious. There's nothing quite like a berry fresh from the vine.
