For this one you might have noticed I used frozen berries, but fresh is always best. Wherever possible go as fresh and un-processed as you can. Just throw all the ingredients in the blender with the heaviest on top and give it a whizz.
This is a great way for non fruit lovers to get something fresh into their diet or a meal replacement for those wanting to lose weight. Or if you are like me, have a couple of these in between meals as a way to put on weight :P
Enjoy!

this looks so good! i really want to try out more smoothies... might attempt something like this this week! thanks! x
ReplyDeleteGreat looking smoothie. I find that whilst I hate eating bananas i can tolerate them in smoothie form as a good alternative. Looking forward to the next smoothie Sunday post.

That looks delicous! And those pictures are so pretty too!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your next smoothie already:)
I saw your picture on instagram and wondered if you had used frozen berries. frozen would be nice for this hot summer too. haha put on weight, :P don't you need to add protein to it as well?
ReplyDeleteSometimes I add protein, gotta leave some tricks up my sleves for next time. I normally have about 4 - 5 fruits in a smoothie, but Amanda thinks no one else would drink my random combos

Looks verry jummy and healthy!
ReplyDeletelove love love. thanks for sharing!! x
ReplyDeleteSure, fresh is good but if you use frozen your smoothie will be COLD!! And if you use frozen banana it makes it lovely and thick. Freezing it doesn't make it any less healthy / any more processed.
ReplyDeleteFair enough, thanks for the tip! I guess we just say we like fresh because we find it tastes better, but you're right - nothing wrong with frozen either :)
DeleteSo pretty and pink!
