Smoothie Sunday | Tropical Smoothie

Hi guys, here's my second smoothie recipe for you. If you missed my last one you can check out my berry smoothie here.

I wanted to use strawberries for this drink but as they're going out of season here I substituted them with blueberries which was still quite nice. The mango gives this drink a really fresh taste and if you need tips on how to cut them you can check out this video tutorial here. It's as simple as throwing all the ingredients in the blender and mixing them to a smooth consistency. I recommend putting the heaviest ingredient (in this case the bananas) on top as it pushes all the ingredients onto the blades.

I think this will be my last fruit smoothie for a little while as winter is coming here but I'll be back with different variations of my favourite smoothie recipes.

  1. I love fruit, it's so tasty, so I adore these smoothie posts, especially with the mango it looks delicious!xx

  2. I have some blueberries to use up, so will try this mix today.

  3. PS. What about adding protien? I've been adding flaxseed to my smoothies so it has some protein too, although yogurt would have some.

    1. I think my next one will be more of a meal, I'm just enjoying fruit while it lasts here. Berries are already disappearing from shops, only blueberries remain.

I'll try do protein next time!

  4. Yum. Looks delicious. I am addicted to blueberries so I will have to give this a go.

  11. I am a smoothie addict - especially as it gets into the warmer months. They're a really great way to get your 5 a day. I need to put more melon in mine as I love it but rarely use it.

  12. Ohhh this sounds good! Gonna have to try it! Thanks!
