Lomography Top Blog Awards

This year Lomography held their first ever Blog Awards and I'm happy to say that Here Comes the Sun was named as one of the 20 runners up! And I'm even happier to say that my good friend Liss (whom I just recently featured for her amazing film photography here) was named as one of five overall winners! Congrats Liss :) Check out the full list of winners here. In celebration I thought I would share with you a few of my favourite film photos I've taken over the years.

(all taken with the LC-A+, ISO400 Fuji film)

It's been awhile since I've picked up one of my film cameras but I really should get back into it again! I think I sometimes prefer the convenience of my digital camera or instagram but you really can't beat the charm of film and the excitement of picking up a newly developed roll!

    1. Congrats on the first year of your blog!

For the giveaway I guess the best idea would be to go for something along the lines of what you've featured before and that your readers have responded well to. It's always good to do something you know your audience will enjoy!

      All the best :) x

  16. I love your film photos and the posts your photography contributors have put in really inspired me to go pick up my film camera and have a go again! I just posted some pictures I shot mainly on a Holga on my blog, it would mean a great deal to me if you could have a look and give me some feedback! Thanks!

  17. I agree that film is charming. I think you've just taken an extended break because of your new digital camera. I recently got a new digital camera too and there is so much to play with that it leaves all your other cameras in the dust. It's okay. We'll revisit them again.
