Recipe | Protein Cookies

If you've been reading my blog for awhile or if you follow me on instagram you'll know I'm a big fan of healthy eating. Salads, smoothies, fresh fruit and vegetables are my faves but of course I love my treats (in moderation) as well. This recipe was passed onto me by a friend and it's my favourite guilt-free treat at the moment. There's no flour or sugar involved in making these cookies but they're still super yum! (and so simple to make).

Ingredients:
2 bananas
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup oats
1 scoop of protein powder
1/2 cup raisins

Preheat your oven to 170°. Mash the bananas then add all the ingredients together in your bowl and mix together with your hands.

Combine into balls the size that you want your cookies and flatten only slightly. Pop in the oven for 20 minutes or until golden.

Enjoy! I like having them for breakfast or as a healthy snack throughout the day.

  8. Can you make these without the protein? Or is there a substitute? x

  9. I tried to make this snack but used pine nuts and blueberries instead of protein powder and cinnamon. The result was amazing! You can see some photos of it here: http://290daysofcolour.blogspot.se/.
