30 Days of Wellness Challenge

(Green smoothie pic from my instagram - recipe coming on Sunday)

One of my blogging contributors - Nicola from Eat Well NZ (you might remember this delicious protein ball recipe she shared) is running a health and fitness challenge on her blog this April. You can read more about it on her blog here, but basically Nicola will be posting something every day this month that contributes to her health, wellness and fitness (and that can contribute to yours too!).

I'm excited to read her posts and learn some new tricks and habits I can incorporate into my own routine. To begin my 30 Days of Wellness I thought I would share a few of my goals for the month:

• Run 20 kms per week
• Do pilates or yoga 3x per week
• Drink more water
• Drink more green tea and less coffee
• Limit takeaways (I'm a dumpling addict) to x2 per month
• Cut out fizzy drinks altogether

I'll post about this challenge a couple of times throughout the month to let you know how I'm going with it all! I encourage you to join in too, it's always easier to be fit and healthy when other people are doing it with you too :)

  1. Love this idea! I just headed over to check out Eat Well NZ as well - and I think I'm now inspired to try a plank a day challenge!

    Wish me luck :)

    1. What a cool idea! Looking forward to following your progress! Hoping it'll motivate me to stay on track with my goals too. :)

    2. Yes, you should totally give the plank challenge a go! Definitely gave me a kick start to stronger abs.

  2. Look forward to the green smoothie recipe!

  3. Looking forward to reading more! I think I'll try and get on board as much as possible as well. I have a holiday in about a month so it's just the motivation I need to get in shape!

  4. Sounds great!xx

  5. Yay! I'm with you too!
"Clean eating?" haha! I will try and track the exercise and food I eat, plus drink more water and green tea too! ...oh and that smoothie looks good!

  6. Great tips! I'm excited because I never drink soda and have recently replaced all other hot drinks with green tea! Makes me feel like I'm part way there and could do the rest too!

  7. looks like a lovely healthy green mess! Sounds like a great plan too, when you cut out fizzy drinks & increase exercise and water consumption, you feel a lot healthier and energized! good luck with it all :) x

  8. Yay for fitness! We started a fitness series on my blog. We are starting with baby step and drinking more water :)
