Japan, Here We Come!

Well it's been an interesting 24 hours for Jeremy and I! It started with us seeing a deal for crazy cheap flights to Paris (which we sadly missed out on) and ended up with us booking a holiday to Japan for next year!

When we heart brokenly missed out on the Paris flights we decided we'd see what other deals were online and we were thrilled to discover that flights to Japan were an amazing price so we took a leap and booked them. We were not at all expecting to book a holiday yesterday but sometimes you just have to jump on opportunities!

So now what I need to know is - have you been to Tokyo? And if so, can you give me suggestions?

I've already got some ideas of things I'd like to see and do but I'd love to hear from people who have already been there! I'm looking for travel tips, accommodation recommendations and all the best things to see/ eat/ do. Fire away!

  3. check out Hello Sandwich blog and also Eveline T's instagram as she recently went to Japan. - I recently did a blog post on her outfits she packed. And you have to ride a bicycle around the laneways in the west areas like Shibuya. Ahhh you can do the trip I've been dreaming about. Oh and Kelly Smith would have lots of ideas too, shes been twice and about to go a third time. how exciting!

  6. Aren't the flight sales crazy? Don't worry about missing out on Paris, these sales will come up again! My husband and I did a trip to Paris & England a couple of years ago on some crazy sales like the ones happening now. Such a surreal life experience. Before that I'd never been overseas!

I can't imagine how amazing Japan would be! I've heard wonderful things :)

  7. I'VE BEEN! Most definitely visit Shibuya, visit a 100yen shop (everything is 100yen!!!), buy any tech you need. Find a guide of the latest art shows and galleries. Visit a traditional tea house. Borrow a bike and ride a bike around the neighbourhood. Go to Disneyland and get fast passes, go to Nikko. Go visit villages and mountainsides because the natural side is beautiful also.
