I want to be brief with this, but it's something I feel I need to discuss (I shall refrain from ranting, I hope).
Sometime during my 2 year break from this blog, I became a vegan. Some of my friends also are, many aren't - and this has never been a problem. I'm a big believer in a.) not being preachy and b.) that people in my life should know that my personal choices are not a commentary on theirs. However I'd also like to follow up with c.) I do really stand behind my decision and I welcome discussion whenever people have questions.
Since then, I've had a few jibs and jabs about it from people in my life - but for the most part no one has really cared - and so they shouldn't, as it effects no one but myself. However, it does feel like there's a weird mindset around veganism and that brings me to this article on Vice. It's a good read, I encourage you to click through and check it out, because it explains my view better than I probably can.
TLDR; I really like vegan food, my body thrives on it and with the information I have I feel it's the best decision I could make, but if you're not vegan, I don't give a flying f*ck. You do you, let me do me and let's all just move on.
Lastly, I made a video of what I eat in a week, you can view it here, and I promise it's not just lettuce leaves and water x
